Greetings and Welcome to the Church @ Steeplechase Website.  In 2002, when my wife and I felt called by God to begin a new church work in the Jonesville area, we had no idea the joy that God would have in store for us in the coming years.  While there are many churches in this part of Alachua County, we knew that we were called to begin something that would fill a need for this area that wasn't yet being met.  We desired to raise our children in a church that focused on keeping families together for worship, teaching and fellowship.  We wanted a church where the doctrines of the Reformation could be unashamedly taught and passed on to our children.  We were looking to be a part of a fellowship that could tap into our heritage without being a slave to the past. Above all we desired a church that was more interested in pleasing God than pleasing man.  I can't say that we have always lived up to the ideals we established for this church, but by God's grace we are striving to become what He wants us to be.  If you are looking for a church home that sounds a little like that, we would love to have you come and visit with us at Steeplechase!
